Learn how to set up and use Roofr’s Instant Estimator. Offer homeowners quotes in seconds and capture their information to qualify leads.
How to set up your Instant Estimator
- Creating a new Estimator
- Navigate to Instant Estimator in your Roofr Dashboard and click New Instant Estimator
- Name the estimator (Select a name that describes how this estimator will be used ie: website homepage)
- Click Create
- Managing your estimator link
- Share link: copy and paste the link into your website, or social media pages
- QR code: download a SVG or PNG file of a QR that will link to your estimator
- Embed code: copy and paste this code into your website where you want the estimator to appear

💡 Customize the questions on your Instant Estimator. Remember, more questions can reduce conversion rates. Include only what's essential for qualifying leads.
- Click Manage questions

The following questions are locked and cannot be removed from your estimator:
- Address
- Slope selection
- Desired material
- Contact form. Contact information will be pulled from your Roofr User Profile section.
- Click the question listing to preview the appearance of the question in the preview window on the left (1)
- Click and drag questions to reorder (2)
- Select the blue + to add more specialized questions to this estimator.(3)
- Click Save when complete
- Managing material options
💡List your materials with full pricing—including tear-off, waste, and markup costs. Customers choose materials and get estimates based on your rates.
- Click +Add
- Select a material for your Estimator and click Continue to customize
- Add each material individually - you can offer multiple options to customers
Choose from:
- Flat roof materials (no slope) - Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM
- Sloped roof materials - Cedar, Tile, Metal, Asphalt
- Custom material - Add any unlisted materials
- Set your pricing, photos, and description for each material
- Click Save
💡 You can create multiple options for each material to offer "Good, Better, Best" pricing tiers.
- Managing pricing settings

Select if you would like to specify your pricing by square foot or square
- This can be changed at anytime and pricing will be updated accordingly
- Select if you would like to show your prices as a range instead of a single price and set the percentage range
- Select if you would like to show financing and set the terms that will be shown on your Estimator
- Add a financing link (optional).
- Set default assignee
- The default assignee will be assigned to every new lead that is created from this estimator
- Add point of contact
- Contact information will be pulled from this person’s Roofr profile page
- Add scheduling link (optional)
- Include a link to your Calendly, google calendar etc
- Additional content (optional)
- Choose to show your CompanyCam project showcase and/or social media links on your estimator
- Publish

Toggle ON ‘Mark as Published’ to go live
- When toggle is off (draft state) you can preview the Estimator without creating a new lead
- Unpublishing your Instant Estimator takes it offline — customers who visit the link will see a renovation screen.
