How to create a proposal with QXO integration using a template
Step 1: Create a Roofr Proposal Template
- Add the QXO integrated items that you would like to use to a Roofr template.
- Click ‘Use this template’ and select the Roofr measurement you would like to use.
Step 2: Use Supplier Pricing
- In the ‘Estimate Settings’ of your proposal, select the Supplier catalog and Branch location you want to use for this proposal. Click ‘Save’.
Step 3: Review pricing and adjust as needed
- Click ‘Edit option’ to review your line items.
- Grayed-out unit costs in the proposal are automatic prices pulled from the QXO supplier catalog.
- If a price is editable, it means it was manually set in your Roofr catalog.
- To adjust an automatic QXO price, disconnect the line item first.
Step 4: Finalize and save your proposal
- Add and edit any additional line items as needed.
- Click Save to finalize your proposal.

Step 1: Select your proposal
- Navigate to the proposals section of your Roofr dashboard.
- Open the proposal you wish to edit.
Step 2: Use Supplier Pricing

Click ‘add item’ and use the search bar to add any additional items.

💡FAQ
Why are some prices grayed out?
Grayed-out prices indicate that the cost is being pulled automatically from the QXO supplier catalog. These prices can only be adjusted if you disconnect the from supplier pricing.
Can I edit a supplier price?
Not directly. If you need to adjust a supplier price, you must first disconnect the line item from the QXO catalog.
What happens if I don't assign a supplier?
Your proposal will still be created, but prices won’t be automatically pulled from QXO.
