Learn how to create, edit and send a duplicate of a signed proposal that need changes. By creating a copy, you can update information, pricing, or other details while maintaining a professional relationship with your customer. The duplicate proposal workflow ensures your records remain organized and your customer receives the most current information.
Roofr proposals that have been signed cannot be edited. Roofr users will need to create a copy and re-send for any changes.

💡A sent proposal that has not yet been signed can be changed by cancelling the signature request and making edits to the original.
- Create a copy of your signed proposal
- Navigate to the Proposals page of your Roofr Dashboard.
- Locate the proposal that you need to edit and resend
- Select the '...' menu on the far right side of the proposal
- From the dropdown menu, select Make a copy

- Edit the duplicate proposal
- Open the proposal and make your required changes
- Change the title/name of the copied proposal on the proposal editing page by clicking the pencil at the top of the proposal edit screen
- Consider adding a date to indicate it is the most updated version (ex. "Updated on date")
- Be sure to save your changes

- Send the new proposal
- Click Preview and Send and review your changes

Click Send Proposal
- Be sure to edit your subject line and email body to reiterate that this is the updated version of your proposal
- Click Send Proposal to send the revised proposal email for signatures.

💡You will notice that there are now two proposals for this job
💡Be sure to edit your Job Value to ensure it only includes the value as needed from the edited proposal(s)
