Learn how to navigate and use your Roofr Inbox to manage customer communications efficiently.
The Roofr Inbox feature allows you to manage all customer communications, including emails and text messages, directly from Roofr. With everything in one place, you can track emails and texts, automate follow-ups, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Plus, you can create and use message templates to save time and maintain consistency in customer communication.

- A Roofr account with a Text subscription add-on
- Application approval for Roofr Texting
- Customer permission to receive Text messages

- The Inbox feature is available to users with messaging permissions in Roofr
- Outgoing and incoming message are viewable to anyone cc’d or included on the message
💡Texting is available for those with the subscription add-on
How to Use Roofr Inbox
- Access your inbox
- In Roofr, click on Communications in the lefthand navigation
- The Inbox tab displays all your existing emails and texts
- The Templates tab contains your pre-made email and text templates for quick use
- Explore your inbox
- Filter between Inbox, Sent, and Unread messages
- Sort messages by type (email or text)
- Use the Search Bar to find specific messages (search by: customer name, job address, email or phone number)
- Send a Message
- Click New Message then select to send an Email or Text from scratch or existing template
- Enter the job address associated with the message you would like to send
- Choose a template and add details or write a custom message
- Enter the recipient’s details and send the message
4: Navigate email and text communications
- Click on any message in the Inbox to see full message threads
- Use the Job Info button at the top of the message window to access relevant job details
5. Link a thread to an existing job
- Click on the message with no job linked
- Click ‘Link’ at the bottom of the page
- Search for your existing job address, select and click Link now
- The message thread will now be associated with that job
💡 You can access your messages within a Job Card by clicking ‘Inbox’ in the lower right of the Job Card. A job-specific inbox will pop up for you to review and send messages.
